Dear Howard Community,

As I enter my second year as principal of Howard Elementary, I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for the warm welcome and support I received throughout my first year. It has been a joy to work with the students, families, and staff of this wonderful school, and I am excited to continue this journey with all of you.

With over 22 years of experience in education, and now in my second year here at Howard, I feel more connected to this community than ever. My experiences across Oregon, including my years in the Medford School District at McLoughlin Middle School and my roots in Southern Oregon, have helped shape my dedication to creating a learning environment that keeps students at the center.

As Howard Principal, I am fully committed to the Medford School District’s vision that ALL are learning and learning is for ALL. Over the past year, I’ve seen firsthand the importance of collaboration between the school, families, and the wider community in helping our students thrive. I’m eager to continue building positive relationships and encourage you to stay actively engaged by sharing your thoughts, ideas, and feedback.

It is an honor to serve as your principal, and I look forward to another year of growth, learning, and collaboration. Together, we will continue to build on the strengths of our school and create an environment where every student feels supported and empowered to succeed.
